SUSPENDED GARDENS

The project takes place in the new financial district of Anfa, in Casablanca. This up-growing area now needs to provide housing projects to respond to this new development.

The site is surrounded by the main avenue on its East side, and a long palm groove along its Westside. The L shape plot is encircling a future 180 m high office tower.

The design is inspired by the Babylon suspended gardens, translated in a modern way, where green terraces are organised vertically and offer pieces of nature.

The housing units are placed along cascading plates, overlooking the palm groove. The podium of the building provides commercial units and facilities for the inhabitants.
